Quiet Rambling
by Kuro on Nov.23, 2009, under Poets Corner
I coming out of retirement just to play your field,
to run across your surface and lay in between your lines.
To run my fingers between your blades,
that cover the north and fade to obscurity in your south.
The reality is I am captivated by a view,
Only seen by those on the field.
I will die before I leave,
And cry as the season passes.
Because, no one understands me as this field,
The pain, joy, and ecstasy experienced upon its surface.
I feel your stare when I look into your pools,
And see the reflection of a sun that morning dew.
I love the way you say my name in the gentle breeze,
The way you love me when lay quietly at your feet.
Love of my life.

Moodscapes: Love?
by Kuro on Nov.17, 2009, under Poets Corner

It covers me like a blanket..
Resuscitates fantasies and dreams..
Lures me into a den of uncertainty..
Blinds my mind and exposes my heart..
My strength fails as I try to escape..
It has fooled me before when I have surrendered…
Perhaps this time it’s love..
Infatuation..

Now, here comes the kicker – if you (the stranger) were to walk by her 5 minutes later and tell her “Excuse me, but you look great today”. You want to know whose compliment will be rebroadcasted to all her girls that day? *lol* Let’s just say, they wouldn’t know I’d spoke a word. (continue reading…)
