When you ask a man that has cheated, why they did it? You’ll hear many say that “it just wasn’t the same [between my wife and I]” and that “she doesn’t treat me like she used too”. Lord knows that you don’t have to be married to understand the difficulty in sustaining a relationship that you don’t feel “fits” anymore. However, I think that we can all do a better job at nurturing the relationship and realizing that “if we can make our wives happy, then we’ll be happy”. (continue reading…)

Before I got married I was absolutely afraid of entering into a relationship that would last the rest of my life. I was afraid of falling out of love, being faithful, not sabotaging it, or ending up like the other marriages I saw growing up as a child. However, I’ve realized that marriage really is a “journey”, and that journey as life, is better shared with a friend. That friend for me is my wife, and I really can’t think of how I would have survived as the “old me”.

For those of you who are married with children, how long were you married before you thought about having children?
